My four and a half year stay at Customer Research Inc has come to an end. Today, I was "encouraged to find other employment"... interpret that as you will... due to my becoming frustrated and leaving the building to release that frustration. The boss said there were other reasons, but did not cite any in particular. I think my tendency toward whistle blowing and standing up for my rights as an employee likely were the incited reasons. So, here I am, on a precipice. Should I go strait into the search for a new job, or should I take the summer off and get out there searching when the summer season is over and all those young'uns go back to sch

I am throwing together an impromptu get together this Saturday (the 21st of June) at Seahurst Park in Burien at 5pm to ???? (usually this means half an hour later, but hopefully longer) for people that were part of the Burien Library Escape Program, The Order of Roving Vigilance or Friday Late Night at the Purple Door.  This idea was given to me by a person that is back in town for a visit and had the idea.  The plan is for a potluck type event with everybody bringing something to share and stuff.  Maybe somebody brings Cranium and we see if we still have all the answers memorized.  So we have fun and just catch up and remember old times.  So

So, I have seen and heard of disturbing trends in Halloween.  Fewer and fewer kids are out trick or treating.  People tell me that they only get 1 or 2 groups other than me, and I trick or treat at the tail of prime time (6pm to 9pm), because I am at work until about 9pm.  That means I get only an hour at the end of prime trick or treating time and up to an hour after prime from 9pm to 10pm.  I hit houses at the end and they have not had any other trick or treaters.  These are not houses out in the boonies or like that one that is between Normandy Park and Burien we went to that one year that had not had trick or treaters for the better part
